Desde la Dirección queremos recordar la importancia de coordinar
adecuadamente todas las visitas y estancias de personal investigador
procedente del extranjero a nuestro Instituto, especialmente cuando se trate
de profesionales provenientes de países no pertenecientes a la Unión Europea
ni al espacio Schengen.

En los últimos meses hemos tenido conocimiento de algunas visitas
organizadas por investigadores del centro, sin que hayan sido previamente
comunicadas ni autorizadas por la Dirección. Entendemos y valoramos el
dinamismo de estas iniciativas en la creación de vínculos internacionales,
pero es imprescindible que este tipo de visitas o estancias sean gestionadas
de forma coordinada, con el conocimiento mío y el de mi equipo, y su
autorización.

En el futuro, por razones de seguridad institucional, cumplimiento normativo
y planificación adecuada de los recursos y espacios del centro, toda visita
o estancia de personas externas al Área Schengen debe ser comunicada con
antelación a la Dirección, y no debe concretarse ni cerrarse ningún
compromiso sin nuestra aprobación previa.

Agradecemos vuestra colaboración en este asunto, que consideramos de
especial relevancia para el buen funcionamiento del Instituto.

Good afternoon

The Directors would like to remind everyone of the importance of properly
coordinating all visits and research stays by international researchers at
our Institute, particularly when these involve professionals from countries
outside the European Union or the Schengen Area.

In recent months, we have become aware of some visits being arranged by
researchers at the Institute, without prior communication to or
authorization from us. While we appreciate and value the initiative behind
these efforts to foster international collaboration, it is essential that
such visits and stays be managed in a coordinated manner, with the knowledge
and approval of myself and my team.

Going forward, for reasons of institutional security, regulatory compliance,
and effective planning of the Institute’s resources and facilities, any
visit or research stay involving individuals from outside the Schengen Area
must be communicated in advance to the Directorate, and no commitment should
be made without our prior approval.

We appreciate your cooperation in this matter, which we consider essential
to the proper functioning of the Institute.
